This original 1959 Frostop drive-inn is located near Marshall University & Cabell Hospital. This is the only Frostop in West Virginia. Just honk your horn for service. The carhops wear yellow shirts and brown caps with the cursive Frostop logo on them. I ordered a slaw dog and a frosted cold mug of root-beer. The dogs are boiled and the buns are steamed. Your order arrives on a window tray. My excellent slaw-dog came topped with mustard, onions and sauce. My frosty mug Frostop root-beer was excellent! I have not had a root-beer this superior in a long time. Making the root-beer on-site and in small batches really makes all the difference. I also got a thick vanilla milkshake to go and it was outstanding! Enjoy.
