Rotier`s is located within walking distance of Vanderbilt’s football stadium. As you can imagine, on game day, it is almost impossible to find a parking spot. I was there on game day Vandy vs. Arkansas. Rotier`s only has a few spots out in front of their place, and those were taken. I parked about a mile from Rotier`s and walked. Rotier`s was packed, All the fans that did not have a ticket to the game were here eating and watching the game. Well, they were not all here, but you get the picture. Rotier`s was founded in 1945. They are famous for their French bread cheese-burgers. So, I had the French bread cheeseburger, with mustard, onions, pickles, and ketchup, and a side of fries and sweet tea. The cheeseburger was incredible. This is the best cheeseburger I have ever tasted!!! The burger was very juicy and was right off the grill. It was perfectly cooked. Add the French bread bun, which was an excellent change from those boring standard buns, onions, pickles, mustard, ketchup, and cheese, and you have a perfect cheeseburger in your hands. The fries and sweet tea were also very good.
