Of Clyde's three U.P. locations this one is the 1949 original. Clyde's Drive-In is known for their Big "C" Burger, so I had one with cheese, mustard, ketchup, onions and relish. The cheese used on the Big "C" is Velveeta. The ¾ lb. Big "C" burger with its two patties is massive. It's so big that most people will need it cut in half. The "C" is made of fresh ground beef that is cooked fresh, not frozen. My Big "C" burger was very good, it was messy, but it was still very good. They start curb service @ 11:00 am. The front parking spots are for curb service only. They do have a few seats inside or you can eat @ their picnic tables under the pines outside if its not raining. This Clyde's Drive-In is a seasonal place and its open daily from 9am-10pm from early April to late October. They don't take credit cards or debit cards here. Clyde's Drive-In is located near the car ferry to nearby Sugar Island.
