With its close proximity to Yellowstone National Park, its world-class fly-fishing(Rainbow, Brown and Cutthroat trout) on the nearby Yellowstone River, the town's vintage neon and its diamond of a drive-in with Mark's In & Out burger, Livingston, Montana has it all. A fixture in Livingston since 1954, Mark's is open seasonally from March thru October seven days a week from 11am-10pm daily, but they're not open when it's snowing. The burgers are ground fresh daily and formed by a Holly-Mattic burger maker. Montana beef hot-dogs (Foot-Longs) are deep fried. I had a perfect cheeseburger, topped with ketchup, mustard, pickles and onions. And superbly-flavored rings with just the right amount of added salt and not greasy. The shakes are made with local Wilcoxsons Ice cream and my vanilla shake was excellent! Mark's In & Out burger is independently owned and not associated with the well-known western chain. Enjoy!
