Hap's Grill opened the day after Thanksgiving in 1986. The 8 ½ foot-wide building that Hap's calls home does serve burgers, but the main draw here are the hotdogs. The grilled dogs with steamed buns outsell the burgers 2 to 1.  My two dogs with everything were excellent! Everything @ Hap's means mustard, onions and their homemade chili. I also had a superb cold glass bottle of Cheerwine with my dogs, The Cheerwine Bottling Company is headquartered in Salisbury. Hap's also has glass bottle Sundrop. Inside, Hap's is stand-up to eat only, but there are tables outside. Hap's can serve 5 to 6 people a minute, the fastest service in town, so long lunch lines do disappear rather fast. Hap's is located in Historic Downtown Salisbury. Enjoy the dogs and a Cheerwine!
