When you are on vacation you don't always want or have time for a big sit-down restaurant meal. Sometimes all you really need is a quick snack. So, our motelier directed us to Quakes Creamery and you really can't get much better than a great home-made ice cream/fresh home-made custard place near the beach (Biloxi Beach) in summertime. This would not be the first time I've had a milkshake for dinner and it ceartainly wont be the last. My vanilla dinner shake was excellent! Choppedonion.com left its mark on the wall and the table and you can leave yours in Sharpie as well. Biloxi, as it happens, is also the hometown of Barq's Root Beer and even though its no longer an independent company (now owned by the Coca-Cola Company) its still an excellent root beer. So, raise a frosty mug and celebrate this American original. Enjoy!
