If you are in the Hillsville area, especially on the Labor Day weekend when the town hosts the flea market and gun show, stop by and give the B & P Drive-In (Since 1956) a try. It's located away from the action so you won't have to fight the traffic or run over people. The B & P is also a better deal than the street vendors, and the drive-in does have curb service with window trays. They also have inside seating. Locally the B & P is known for its hotdogs so I ordered a pair with mustard, onions, chili, slaw, a cold glass bottle coke and fries. The nuclear red dogs are boiled and the buns are steamed. Both of my dogs were superb as were the fries accompanying them. Their menu also includes; burgers, BLT, barbecue, chuck wagon, onion rings, tater tots, tater wedges, curly fries, chili cheese fries, corn dogs and pinto beans with cornbread. Weirdly, they serve both Coke and Pepsi products. They are open from 7:00am until 9:00pm Thursday thru Sunday. On Wednesday they close @ 1:00pm. Winter hours vary depending on the weather. Enjoy!
