Some Suvs just stop in the front and a flock of kids comes pouring out, All yelling what flavors they want, with the parents in tow. Carl`s will be over run until it closes. Carl`s Frozen Custard, Yes, custard, because it contains more eggs than ice cream, is made from a rare 1940`s era Electro-Freeze Ice Cream Machine. Carl`s offers vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. You can have a cone, cup, shakes, malts and sundaes. I had a vanilla milkshake and it was incredible. Come taste one of the seven wonders of the Custard World, right here in Virginia. Carl`s is open seven days a week. Carl`s closes the Sunday before Thanksgiving and re-opens the Friday before Presidents day.
