Tucson is located in the Sonoran Desert and it
averages around 70 days a year with temps
over 100 degrees. There are lots of cacti (mainly
Saguaros) but, very little shade. So, where does
Tucson go when the mercury rises? To Tucson's
own Eegee's (1971) of course, for their famed
frozen fruit drinks (also called an Eegee). I tried
the Strawberry and Lemon. They both started
out a little tart then lessened to sweet. The Straw
and Lemon were both great, but the Lemon became
my quick favorite. Eegee's is the perfect way to
beat Tucson's dry desert heat. Check out the link
