Ice milk, if you are old enough to remember is awful. Snow ice cream, once a year with a second snowfall in Roanoke if you are lucky, is great! Häagen-Dazs Vanilla Bean is out-standing! Artisanal ice cream? Well, a hesitant maybe @ first until I had the chance to try Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream in Atlanta. They are very serious about making their ice cream using only the highest quality ingredients and it's made with 15% or so butterfat making it simply delicious. My favorites are Ndali Estate Vanilla and Middle-West Whiskey and Pecans. Jeni's (since 2002) is a family owned and operated company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Enjoy Atlanta's Westside!
