Perky's is first and foremost a Virginia steakhouse and it's one of the best in the country. Chef Greg Toren is a big reason why Perky's draws in visitors from all over the country and their full-cut 10oz. Rib-eye brings me back again and again. I usually get their amazing 10oz. Rib-eye or the equally superb 10oz. Prime-Rib (Friday & Saturday Only!) with it's wonderful Au Jus, a great sweet tea, a lovely house salad with Vidalia Onion dressing and their incredible (huge single slice) cheesecake smothered with strawberries. It will put you in the perfect comfort food comma. It takes an hour and a half for us to drive from Roanoke to Perky's and its worth it every time!
